FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) -- A local company is offering a new way to tour some of the parks and landmarks in downtown Fort Wayne, on a Segway.

Tour Fort Wayne offers both historic and guided trail rides throughout the city. To get in on the action, you must schedule an appointment ahead of time through their website, tourfortwayne.com, where you can find out more information on pricing as well.

The owner of Tour Fort Wayne says bringing these to Fort Wayne was a no-brainer.

"I've been on tours in other cities and enjoyed it, and I think it's just great," owner Pat O'Connor said. "Fort Wayne I think is a great place to have it, especially for the history we have here. And with the trails - I mean we've got all these beautiful trails and parks that people can visit. And to walk them, you're not going to walk it all but on Segways we can cover a lot of ground in a hurry and it's more enjoyable than beating the paths."

The next scheduled tour is set for Sunday, Sept. 29th, but you'll need to hurry, Segways are filling up fast.
