FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) – Frontier Communications has partnered with the city of Fort Wayne to offer the public three free Wi-Fi hotspots downtown. This unique partnership will allow patrons free access to high-speed internet at Freimann Square, Citizen Square and One Summit Square effective immediately.

The best part? There are no hidden fees, no network passwords, all you need is to be within the designated "hot-spot" and log into the network titled "FortWFree."

It is as simple as that.

"When we look at long-term projects, we think that it's important not only to look at those which generate revenue, but also sometimes we like to give back to the community. So this is one of those times,” says Greg Stephens, Senior Vice President at Frontier. “So this is a three-stage project that ultimately starts off with free Wi-Fi to downtown areas."

The networks are accessible outdoors. All expenses are paid by Frontier at no cost to the city.
