FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) - Left-handers from the Summit City came together for Leftfest.

Leftfest is part of the Left Handers Day across the United States. Nationwide, 10 percent of the population is left-handed.

Fort Wayne Leftfest started in 1976 on South Wayne Avenue. The festival includes left-handed gadgets like can openers and rulers to treats like left-handed cookies.

Musicians using left-handed instruments also entertained the crowd.
