FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) - Left-handers from the Summit City came together for Leftfest.
Leftfest is part of the Left Handers Day across the United States. Nationwide, 10 percent of the population is left-handed.
Fort Wayne Leftfest started in 1976 on South Wayne Avenue. The festival includes left-handed gadgets like can openers and rulers to treats like left-handed cookies.
Musicians using left-handed instruments also entertained the crowd.
Anyone who uttered the "R" word had to make a donation for Paws For a Cause, an organization which provides services dogs for disabled veterans.
