Waynedale News Keeps Community Flavor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - In its 82nd year of publication, the Waynedale News continues to thrive in an age of on-demand news and technological news delivery.

The publication, with a circulation of 12,500, concentrates on news of a positive nature from southeast and southwest Fort Wayne to primarily Waynedale.

The paper employees a staff of four who work full-time and 15 contributing writers. Readers are allowed to solicit story ideas and the paper survives on its consistent advertising and donations from community supporters. Alex Cornwell is the owner/publisher, and in his five years of overseeing the paper, it has continued to grow and serve the Waynedale community.
