FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) - Forrest Cunningham is a prodigy in more ways than one. At age 11, he already has his probationary black belt in Tae Kwan Do and has won countless championships in high caliber competitions in forms, board breaking, and sparring.

Forrest took up Tae Kwan Do at the age of 5, and has been instructed and coached by his father, Forrest Cunningham Sr., who is a master instructor.

Young Forrest is also substantially ahead of the curve intellectually. He will enroll as a freshman this fall at Bishop Dwenger High School and hopes to graduate when he is 15.

Forrest is competing in Tae Kwon Do in the AAU Junior Olympics this week in Des Moines, Iowa, and will likely add to his already crowded trophy case.
