Weather and Your Health: Seasonal Flu

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Flu season began October 4th, according to the Allen County Department of Health. It's important to get your seasonal flu vaccination as soon as possible and before December. Watch the video for more.

Parkview Home Health and Hospice will be hosting a series of flu and pneumonia vaccination clinics. The initiative is made possible with support from Parkview Hospital's Community Health Improvement Program. The vaccinations will be available for people nine years of age and older.

Here are the dates, times, and locations in Fort Wayne:

Carew Medical Park Atrium, 1818 Carew Street
7-9:30 AM, Tuesday, October 20
4-6 PM, Monday, October 26

Parkview Family YMCA, 10001 Dawsons Creek Blvd.
9AM - 3PM, Wednesday, October 21
9AM - 3PM, Wednesday, October 28

Lafayette Medical Center, 2700 South Lafayette Street, Suite 100
5-7 PM, Wednesday October 21
