A Handful Of M&M's Equals How Much Walking Time

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's Newscenter) -- We've spent the past several months helping you get motivated and training for Fort Wayne's upcoming half marathon and 4 mile walk run on September 27th.

But there's also a first of it's kind health expo which will be held the day before, on September 26th and it's shaping up to be a huge event.

This morning Dr. Jamey Gordon, who is in charge of setting up the expo gave Indiana's Newscenter a sneak peak into what we can all expect.

Dr. Gordon says there will be over 70 vender's on site both inside and outside the Allen County Public Library where the event will be held.
The expo begins at 4 in the afternoon and runs until 8 in the evening.
It will be free and open to the public.

Among some of the many booths you can expect Will be one to help smokers kick the habit.

There Will also be free Osteoporosis screenings done on site which is especially important if you are a female over 40 years old.

Nutritionists will also be on hand to shed insight and help with meal and diet planning.

He showed just how fast our calories add up in this report with his M & M demonstration.

The Fort 4 Fitness Health Expo is also where runner and walkers participating the F4F half marathon and 4 mile walk/run will pick up their packets.

And if you're not yet signed up, there's still plenty of time to get involved.
