FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- For the most part, lawn enthusiasts don't think dandelions look so dandy. They're a tough weed to get rid of, and experts think we'll be seeing more of them this year because of the mild winter. A lot of lawn companies and home owners weren't able to get the initial round of fertilizer down in time. As a result, more weeds are popping up, and everyone's playing catch-up.

When you're trying to get rid of dandelions, the best course of action is to use some liquid weed killer such as Weed-B-Gone. If your neighbors don't share your same passion for lawn care, experts say as long as you continue to fertilize on a regular basis, you should be able to keep any invading weeds at bay.
