FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Fort Wayne Police say a one and half month-old baby boy died after reports of not breathing.

Fort Wayne Police responded to the 7900 block of Serenity Drive shortly before noon Monday to an infant who was reported "unresponsive and not breathing."

The infant was transported to an area hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say this is an on-going investigation.
