Columbia City, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Columbia City and Whitley County were host to Indiana's NewsCenter's "Life's Better Here" tour, with special coverage airing on Indiana's NewsCenter at 5 on WPTA 21Alive.
With it's storied courthouse as a backdrop, Indiana NewsCenter's Eric Olson, meteorologist Jason Meyers and photojournalist Bob Johnston reported on the area's rich history, and found an optimistic outlook for the future. And viewers learned from Meyers about some of Columbia City's extreme weather, including 7 inches of "thundersnow".
