FORT WAYNE, Ind., (Indiana's NewsCenter)--For months we've preparing you for September 26th, the day thousands will converge on Downtown Fort Wayne for Fort 4 Fitness.
And for the second year, it's a sold out event. And this year, it's nearly double in size with all five-thousand slots officially filled.
So now it's time to begin thinking about what to wear on race day so you can "try it out" making sure there are no surprises.
That includes finding the right sports top. If you don't take this decision seriously, chances are you'll end up wasting a lot of money with the trial and error approach.
This is a very personal garment. We all aren't 34B's.
In this Fort 4 Fitness segment we take you to Barbara's New Beginnings on Illinois Road in Fort Wayne where Sports Bras range in size from AA to M..
Owner, Barbara Gilbert gives advice for what to look for in a Sports Bra. She says, it's important to accept your size.
Taking your measurements is a start. Also, the majority of the problems with poor fitting bras are about wearing the wrong size, if you've always wanted to be a C cup, but you measure out a B, get the B size. Don't buy the size you wish you were.
And the right style depends on your chosen activities, body structure and personal preferences. Before you buy think about the amount of vertical movement you will be experiencing in your chosen activities. For example, running is thought of as an activity associated with a lot of vertical movement.
This year's fort-4-fitness festival takes place at Parkview Field September 25th and 26th, and will once again feature more than just races.
The Health Fair and Healthy Food Expo will also take place that Friday and Saturday. They are both free and open to the public.
