INDIANAPOLIS (21Alive) - The Indiana Department of Education has set a target date of Sept. 9 to release spring 2013 ISTEP+ results, WIBC in Indianapolis reports.
WIBC says it obtained an emails from State Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz, D-Ind., written to Indiana school districts detailing the new timetable.
Ritz has previously hoped ISTEP results would be released by the end of August.
The continued delay in the release of ISTEP scores comes after statewide computer glitches interrupted testing for thousands of students. The Indiana Department of Education ordered a review that ultimately found the negative affect of the interruptions were immeasurable.
At Monday night's Fort Wayne Community Schools board meeting, board president Mark GiaQuinta challenged the findings of the state's review, asking for the district's ISTEP scores to prove the glitches had little affect locally.
