Young Girl's Fight With Cancer Comes To A Sad End

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) On Saturday May 7th, 9-year-old Jada Love Tracy succumbed to the aggressive cancer that she had been fighting since she was in kindergarten.

Jada had been in and out of hospitals fighting brainstem glioma, for nearly half of her young life and has at last found peace.

Jada passed peacefully with all her family beside her. Her parents, Sara and Tommy, helped Jada to enjoy every last moment of her life and did their utmost to keep her comfortable as she passed.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday with a calling from 2 to 4 p.m.. The funeral will be at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home at 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Hyler and Mitchell, 1750 East Main St, Suite 160, Saint Charles, IL to help with medical and funeral costs.

The family wishes to thank all those that truly made a difference in Jada’s life.
