INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The drought is taking its toll on many local communities as they decide whether or not to set off their annual fireworks displays.

Officials in Columbia City have postponed their holiday fireworks show, and officials in Roann and Albion have announced they'll set off fireworks on Labor Day weekend in September.

Rome City and Garrett officials have decided to cancel this year's fireworks due to the high risk of fire.
