WARSAW, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- A 24-year-old man has been arrested by Warsaw police. He is accused of accosting and sexually assaulting a woman on a street over the weekend.

The woman reports to police that Saturday evening she was walking down Fort Wayne St. toward the McDonald's on Detroit St. when a man in a black hooded sweatshirt began to follow her and then forced her between houses. She says he sexually assaulted her before letting her leave.

Investigators arrested Anthony Fulton, of Warsaw, after a tip led them to a home two houses north of where the alleged assault took place. He was initially arrested on a synthetic drug possession charge after drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be synthetic marijuana was found with him.

Fulton is now charged with rape and criminal deviate conduct.
