FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Four people are hospitalized following two separate shootings overnight.

The first happened around 11:45 during a home invasion. Police say two armed men forced their way into a home in the 800 block of Lake Avenue near downtown. One of the victims inside, a 27 year old man, was shot in the arm. The other victim, a 55 year old man, was apparently pistol-whipped in the head. Both men were hospitalized in fair condition.

Police are looking for two suspects described as white men in their mid-20s, about 5'10" and weighing 180lbs. One was last seen wearing a camouflage hooded jacket and blue jeans. The other had on a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Then about 3 and a half hours later, more gunfire rang out on the city's northeast side. Police say two men were shot when someone opened fire on their car at Hobson and Trier Roads around 3:15 A.M. The suspect vehicle, which was light-colored and possibly grey, then sped off.

One of the victims was hospitalized in serious condition. The other is in fair condition.

Hobson Road at Trier Road remains closed because of the investigation.
