Victim of State Fair State Collapse Awakes from Coma

PENDLETON, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A woman badly hurt in the Indiana State Fair stage collapse is out of a coma and communicating by writing messages on a dry-erase board...this news comes from the Herald Bulletin.

30-year-old, Andrea Vellinga of Pendleton began waking up last week after suffering from head injuries.

The collapse killed seven people and injured many others.
