Verizon Wireless Donates $7,500 To Walk A Mile In Her Shoes (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Verizon Wireless is donating $7,500 to Walk A Mile In Her Shoes.

The donation was made possible through HopeLine which collects no-longer-used wireless phones, batteries and accessories in any condition from any carrier and turns them into support for domestic violence survivors. Phones collected are either refurbished and sold or recycled and proceeds are donated to organization that work against domestic violence.

Walk A Mile In Her Shoes, which registers men to walk one mile in women's high-heeled shoes, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at Headwaters Park at 10 a.m.
