Valentine's Day: Spending on the Rise

Untitled (www.incnow.tv) - Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. How much will you spend on your loved one?

A new survery by BIGinsight revealed that the average person will spend $130.97 on their loved one. That's up from $126.03 last year.

The National Retail Federation says a mix of traditional and non-traditional Valentine's Day gifts will be popular this year.

More than half of gift-givers will buy candy, another third will buy flowers, and others will buy jewelry. And still others will buy clothing, gift cards, and cards.

Total Valentine's Day spending is expected to reach $18.6 billion. It remains one of the biggest gift-giving holiday's of the year.
