FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- A calm settled over the Penn State campus Thursday but last night it was anything but.

Students began rioting on word that football Coach Joe Paterno had been terminated.

University of Saint Francis football Coach Kevin Donely says the whole situation is unfortunate and believes Paterno did the right thing to follow the chain of command.

“Initially the same thing Joe did,” says Donely. “You go to your superiors, and you are going to sit down with people that you work for. And you are going to tell them what you know, and trust that the right thing is going to be done. I know at our school it would be, it would have been taken care of.”

Tom Bradley has been named interim coach.
