FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – The University of Saint Francis intends to sweeten the deal for families and friends looking ahead to its production of "Willy Wonka" at the USF Performing Arts Center.

A meet-and-greet and "Wonka Tour" at DeBrand Fine Chocolates gave visitors a chance to tour the famous chocolatier's facility and meet Willy Wonka and other play characters.

DeBrand staff members led tours as oompa loompas, and DeBrand cooks in each kitchen were busy making some special tastes for the tour.

“Families get to meet Willy Wonka, have their picture taken with him, they get to learn how chocolate is made, they're having samples, they see a video, and at the end they get to enjoy a chocolate fountain and see oompa-loompas dance,” said Trois Hart, Associate Vice President at USF.

Guests were able to purchase tickets for the USF play for March 21 – 23, and 28 – 30. Children who attend the play will receive a golden ticket to enter a drawing at a chance for a special prize.
