U.S. Releases Videos from bin Laden's Compound

WASHINGTON (NBC) - The Pentagon releases clips of what they call home movies of Osama bin Laden, seized from his hideout during last week's raid.

The clips include several "practice" videos featuring bin Laden with a dyed black beard rehearsing his statements.

One video also shows a grey bearded bin Laden watching news coverage of himself on TV while wrapped in a blanket.

Officials say the videos offer a brief glimpse, at bin Laden's life behind the walls of his compound in Pakistan.

Other videos taken during the raid show more of his daily life in the compound.

Investigators have been unable to determine when these videos were taken.
