NORTH WEBSTER--(Indiana's NewsCenter)-- Two people were seriously burned in what police believe to be a meth lab explosion in Kosciusko County this morning.

It happened at a home on West 30 Lane in North Webster.

A bomb squad from South Bend was also called in to help dismantle the lab after police discovered 3 blasting caps inside the home.

Police say 37-year old Vanessa Renee Newman, and 45 year old Brad Lee Niles Sr. both received burns to the face and chest, and were taken to a Fort Wayne hospital where they were last listed in serious condition.

According to police there were several one pot method methamphetamine labs in the basement at the time of the explosion.
