Tuesday's Tornadoes Tear Through South and Midwestern States

OKLAHOMA CITY (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - For the second time in three days, Joplin residents were warned by sirens that yet another twister coming their way.

A giant storm system produced 36 tornadoes in seven south and Midwestern states.

Several tornadoes struck in Oklahoma. Oklahoma City and its suburbs suffered severe damage from the storm that ripped open a natural gas well.

In Arkansas, the town of Denning was obliterated and at least 3 were killed.

In Joplin the search for the survivors continues as over a thousand are still missing.
