DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – 40-year-old Ronnie Jones learned his trial will go on as scheduled on July 26th.

He's charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder, in a case from New Year’s Day of 2010.

Prosecutors say he killed his girlfriend, 32-year-old Melissa Patrick after an argument at her job in Auburn.

They say he then drove to Waterloo to try to kill his ex-wife and her boyfriend, Melissa Patrick’s estranged husband.

Jones shot into the home, but was eventually wounded by the ex-wife's boyfriend.

Jones then got into his truck and drove it into the woman's house.
