FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- When Denise Lee went in search for one of HOT107.9'S missing reindeer in early December, she found John Septer's body along a river bank instead.

She wanted to turn the unfortunate find into a positive, so to honor Septer's life long desire to serve the homeless, HOT 107.9 upped the stakes for the next reindeer.

Over the weekend, for a bonus clue, contestants just had to drop off a canned item or a gently used/new clothing item.

All the donations went to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
