FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – The Timothy L. Johnson Academy has been searching for a new authorizer since January when Ball State University announced it wouldn't renew their charter.

The Journal Gazette reports that they may have found an authorizer in Education One, LLC, the charter authorizing arm of Trine University.

The two have been in talks about the partnership for about three months now.

Timothy L. Johnson officials say the partnership would be good for Trine and Johnson students as the university students could have student teaching and training opportunities at the academy.

Education One will hold a public hearing on Monday to get feedback and input.
