MIAMI, Fla. (www.incnow.tv) - As the teams gear up for the big game in Miami Monday night so are the fans. Both Notre Dame and Alabama fans have been pouring into South Beach for the highly anticipated BCS National Championship matchup.

The top-ranked Irish and No. 2 Crimson Tide held media day. It was an opportunity for the teams to see Sun Life Stadium, site of Monday's title tilt; and for the media to get final thoughts from the players and coaches.

Downtown, at South Beach, Saturday afternoon there was a pep rally for both Notre Dame and Alabama that got fans fired up.

Making this matchup so anticipating for fans is the fact that the two teams have 25 national championships between the two programs, and that it’s been over 20 years since Notre Dame has been in a position to win a national title.

Stay with INC as we continue to bring you coverage from Miami. Monday night Tommy will host a half hour pregame show previewing the national championship battle between Notre Dame and Alabama at 7:30 p.m. on 21 Alive.
