FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - There’s more hot summer weather expected this week, but it likely won't be as bad as last week's heat wave.

As a result, Fort Wayne has closed its cooling centers.

The shelters opened up last week and helped about 200 residents cool off from the high temperatures and humidity.

The last center shut down Saturday night.

A few local stores supplied them with water and light snacks.
