NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Two young teenagers were hospitalized after wrecking a mini van in rural Noble County.
Police say a 14 year old boy took the van from his home and went driving with another 13 year old boy Sunday.
The teen, whose name has not yet been released, was speeding when he lost control on a "washboard" area of County Road 800 North, over-corrected and drove off the road. The van hit a culvert and a steel railroad rail, and broke it, before it slid sideways, struck an RV trailer and a pickup truck, and flipped onto its side.
Police say the boys were airlifted to a hospital in Ft. Wayne to be treated for injuries. Their conditions have not been released.
