INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (www.theindychannel.com) -- A not-guilty plea was entered Friday on behalf of a Franklin Township teacher who was arrested earlier this week on child molestation charges.

Thomas Haydock, 52, is being represented by high-profile attorney Jim Voyles.

Haydock, who had been teaching fourth grade at Mary Adams Elementary School, is accused of molesting a 10-year-old student he had been tutoring four years ago.

The Franklin Township Community School Corp. said Haydock had been on administrative leave since April, when it learned of the allegations.

Haydock's hearing lasted less than five minutes. He was released on $100,000 bond.

A trial date was set for Sept. 16.
