WASHINGTON (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Late Thursday afternoon the US House voted to extend the Bush-era Tax Cuts for families making under $250,000 a year.

The tax cuts are set to expire at the end of the month.

Senate Republicans say they'll still push to extend them to "all" income brackets.

All 42 Senate Republicans vowed to prevent a final vote on any other legislative business in the lame-duck session until the cuts are extended to all.

There is speculation that there will be a compromise and the tax cuts for all will be extended, even for the wealthy, for a year or two.
