FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Food, art, and entertainment all in one place!

Thousands of people are heading downtown for the 5th annual "Taste of the Arts" festival Saturday.

Street performers took over Freimann Square and visitors could stop by art booths and food tents.

Organizers say it's one of Fort Wayne’s most popular events.

“There's just a wide range of incredible experiences we want the community to know about. We want people to come down, we want them to have fun, experience some great things, but go away feeling like they've learned a little bit more about what they can experience in this community,” said Dan Ross, Director of Community Development with Arts United.

The festival has drawn in more than 25,000 people.
