TRF Ready To Get Underway Downtown

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival officially kicks off with the traditional parade through downtown Saturday morning at 10 am.

Some key streets will be closed for the parade. They involve west Wayne, Main, Berry, Calhoun, Harrison, Van Buren, Ewing, Fairfield, Superior and Barr.

Other festival events this weekend include the Pink Floyd tribute band concert at Headwaters Park Friday night,

A pole vault competition on 4th Street all day Saturday, and Science Central will host an egg drop "Egg-Stravaganza" on Sunday.

Parade coverage starts Saturday at 10 o'clock on 21Alive and replay on the 18th on My TV, digital channel 33-2, Comcast 19, at 1pm.
