NEW ORLEANS (www.incnow.tv) -- Super Bowl XLVII lite up Twitter, despite the lights going out. With moments that generated more than 22.1 million tweets (not including conversations about commercials), the twittersphere was a buzz about this year's Super Bowl.

While the Superdome losing power was one of the hot topics, generating over 230,000 tweets-per-minute (tpm), the much anticipated Beyonce Halftime Show topped the TPM chart with "Single Ladies", Destiny's Child's on-stage reunion and the conclusion of the show all driving more than 250,000 tpm.

While Beyonce created more buzz (quantitatively), the power outage left Twitter users combing the site for the tweets that bought about the most giggles. Even on-the-ball advertisers, took advantage of the opportunity. Check out the gallery to see some of most popular tweets about the #blackout.
