FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A study released by the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership recommends transferring IPFW governance to Indiana University.

The results of the IPFW Roles and Governance Study were released today with five recommendations for the future of IPFW. One of the five recommendations included in the study was the Transfer of IPFW's governance from Purdue University to Indiana University.

The study recommends IPFW's management be outright moved to IU's governance or restructured as a regional IU campus. The study cites Indiana's institutional infrastructure as a proper support system to administer regional campuses.
