FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - We're still waiting to hear when an Atlanta developer will come to Fort Wayne and explain what's the holdup on a key part of Harrison Square.
Three weeks after a target groundbreaking date, there's no sign of progress on the residential-retail component called "the Harrison".
Mayor Tom Henry sent a letter to the City Redevelopment Commission, urging the head of Barry Real Estate to come to town before May 31st to provide an update.
No date for that meeting has yet been established.
The project calls for a law firm, credit union branch, restaurant and 42 higher end apartments.
