FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – A long time Republican State Senator is speaking out against Democratic Lawmakers.

Tom Wyss says laws benefiting the lives of Hoosiers will be lost if House Democrats don't go back to Indianapolis, Friday. Wyss says the Democrats will probably lose seats in the next election because of their recent actions.

“It's a disappointment,” says Wyss, “I say that from a majority position but I still think that the people elect us to be there, we're getting paid to be there, they're getting paid to be there, and unfortunately they're in Urbana, Illinois.”

Wyss also says he doesn't understand why Richard Mourdock is running for U.S. Senate. He's supporting current Indiana Senator, Richard Lugar.
