INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) --Today, the state senate will take a look at Governor Mitch Daniels' agenda, including school vouchers.

The voucher would let eligible lower and middle income parents use public tax dollars to help pay for private school tuition.

The bill cleared the house last week.

The state senate will also be taking a look at a state wide smoking ban bill.

Both bills are controversial.

We’ll keep you updated on the progress of these bills today on the Networks of Indiana’s NewsCenter.
