Grant County, Ind (21Alive) - Too close for comfort.

An Indiana State Trooper working a minor traffic crash on I-69 near Marion almost got run over by other vehicles sliding out of control on the slick roads.

Trooper Chuck Meyer was stopped in the median at Mile Marker 267 about 12:30 pm when a car and two semi-trucks took turns sliding into the median.

The trailer of one of the semis clipped Meyer's cruiser, blowing out the back window.

Meyer was forced to jump over a cable barrier to avoid getting hit. He suffered minor injuries while he avoided the blow to his car.
