Recent Developments On Missing Woman Dorthy Heard

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Human remains were discovered in a Marion field Thursday.

Police suspect the body is that of a 74 year old Noblesville woman who went missing eight months ago. Authorities have been searching reservoirs in Wabash and Grant Counties for her body.

Investigators say they received a tip last week concerning the case of Dorothy Heard.

Heard's nephew, 47 year old Donald Burns, is a person of interest in the case.

Police say the same day she went missing he tried to sell her ring at a Marion pawn shop and purchase nearly $400.00 worth of jewelry at a Marion Wal-Mart with her credit card.
