City's New Garbage Contract Will Save Residents Money

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Mayor Tom Henry signs the city's new garbage contract.

The contract set to begin next year, will save residents more than two percent on their pick-up fee.

The city of Fort Wayne will pay nearly $13 less per-ton of garbage than the average landfill rates in Indiana.

Residents should receive more information by mail in November.
