INDIANAPOLIS (www.incnow.tv) -- $9.5 million Hoosier Lottery jackpot frozen by court order until the winner or winners can be determined.

Tracy Williams, a hair stylist at an east-side Indianapolis hair salon, could have claimed her prize from the Hoosier Lottery headquarters no questions asked. However, she went to the salon where she worked and told her co-workers how the ticket she had bought had been the winner.

The issue here is that Williams was also responsible for purchasing tickets for her salon pool and she purchased all the tickets at the same time making it difficult to determine if the winning ticket was a pool ticket or her ticket alone.

Seven other stylists decided to file a court order to freeze the winnings so that they would have the time to sort out which ticket was the winning ticket and if Williams needed to split the winnings with the other stylists.

According to Williams she makes copies of the pool tickets and hands them out at work. She claims that this ticket is not one of the tickets bought with pool money.

If she can prove to the judge that her ticket was bought separately from the pool tickets then she will be claiming her $9.5 million winnings, if not then she will have to split the winnings eight different ways.
