Pre-trial Hearing Set For Alleged Apartment Robber (with Video)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- A pre-trial is set for the man charged with robbery with a deadly weapon.

The pre-trial hearing is set for April 16th for Devonte Hamlet, 20, who faces two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon and three counts of criminal confinement.

Police say on just after 10 p.m. on Jan. 10, Hamlet and another suspect followed a woman into her apartment at the Island Club complex, 8709 Gulf Dr., bound the woman and other residents inside the apartment, stole several items and fled.

Police detectives remind the public to stay vigilant as the investigation continues in all 13 apartment complexes since Jan. 7.
