UNDATED (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The US Postal Service is using buyouts in the next step to cut the agency's costs.

Officials are offering $20,000 to veteran workers, reportedly in hopes of eliminating 7,500 administrative jobs.

The Postal Service also plans to shut down a couple thousand district offices and post offices nationwide over the next year.
