Possible Robbery Attempt Leaves Two People Shot on 3rd Street

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne Police are investigating a shooting that put two people in the hospital Thursday morning.

The victims 19-year-old Brian Davis of Medina, Ohio and 33-year-old Kenneth Cummings of Brunswick, Ohio were shot just before 4 AM in the 1400 block of Third Street.

They were hospitalized in serious condition.

There is a possibility the shooting stemmed from a robbery, but that has not been confirmed.

No arrests have been reported yet.
