Armed Robbery At Power 1 FCU: 3 Suspects Arrested (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The names of the suspects have been released by police, including a third suspect they say was the get-away driver.

Trey T. Jackson, 25, DeAngelo Copeland, 36 and Nicole A. Andrews, 35, were all arrested in relation to the robbery. Police say Andrews and Copeland were apprehended in the 900 block of Milton Ave. and that Andrews has been identified as the get-away driver.

Police responded to reports of a robbery Power 1 Federal Credit Union Monday morning.

While on his way to the scene, an officer saw a man fitting the suspect's description hiding behind a cardboard box. When the officer stopped, the suspect took off running and the officer caught up with him and arrested him. A firearm was discovered on this suspect. Not long after that arrest, the second suspect was also taken into custody.

Police say one female employee was forced inside by two men, one of which was armed with a handgun just before the bank opened. Once inside the men saw another employee, pushed the woman down an tried to contain the second bank employee.

The woman was injured by the fall but managed to get herself into an office, locked the access and called 911. The robbers fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash.

The Power 1 Federal Credit Union is on Spy Run Ave. south of Tennessee Ave.
