FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Police are searching for three gunman after an armed robbery at the PNC Bank on Coventry Lane Thursday. And now, the bank is offering a big cash reward for help in catching the suspects.

Fort Wayne Police say the male suspects were all armed with handguns when they went into the bank around 9:00 a.m. They told the employees to get on the ground and then handcuffed one of them before escaping out the back door with cash.

Police were able to get images from the bank’s surveillance video but the men had their faces covered. They’re described as black males, approximately 5' 10" in height wearing hooded sweatshirts. Two were in dark colored sweatshirts and the other wearing a gray, light colored sweatshirt.

A K-9 unit was used to track the men through a residential area but the scent ended just down the street, leading police to believe they had a getaway car.

There were no customers in the bank at the time of the robbery. Nobody was hurt during the robbery but one person was taken to the hospital for an unrelated medical condition.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 260-436-STOP. PNC Bank is offering $25,000 in reward money for information leading to an arrest and conviction in today's robbery.

This is the second robbery in three months at this branch of PNC. On December 12 it was robbed by a suspect who presented a note to the teller demanding cash. There was no weapon used in that incident and again nobody was hurt.
