FORT WAYNE, In. (21Alive) - Fort Wayne Police Department homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Fort Wayne woman found inside a home Friday afternoon.

Police say family members found Debra Jones, 59, dead inside a home in the 500 block of Myanna Lane around 1 p.m.

An autopsy determined Jones bled to death as a result of a sharp force injury to the neck, according to the Allen County Coroner's Office.

Sources say Jones may have been dismembered. That was not mentioned in the autopsy.

Her death was ruled Allen County's 30th homicide of the year.
